  2. The White Bubble of South Africa – Cliff Simon with Loren Stephens

A wonderfully evocative piece of writing. A part of the world I have yet to visit but the imagery was such that it was easy to picture the scene on the boat in particular. I look forward to reading the rest of the tale!

  3. Thanks to Crack the Spine for publishing “White Bubble of South Africa.” by Cliff Simon with Loren Stephens. Cliff and I had a wonderful time writing the piece and ask that all of you stay tuned for the memoir, “Paris Nights: My Year at the Moulin Rouge,” by Cliff Simon with Loren Stephens. You’ll get a kick out of it. Cliff was a principal at the iconic cabaret for a year, and of course raised mayhem in the City of Lights.

Very well written and a true perspective on the life in South Africa in the 70s.

  8. White Bubble of South Africa by Cliff Simon and Loren Stephens

Beautifully written and very touching. Leaves you wanting more.

  9. The White Bubble of South Africa was written with such detail I felt like the proverbial “fly on the wall” experiencing the drama and environments in the essay. The complex intertwining of relationships was fascinating. The author developed depth of character so quickly!
